Seriously, I did not like this movie. I enjoyed parts of it, but I was glad when it was over. <em>True Stories</em> or <em>Fire Walk With Me</em> or even <em>Rocky Horror</em> I kind of wish would keep going, but this? Hell no. Pants Wilder's hilarious comment after was, "All I want is to be able to see the look on Ripper's face when they said to him, 'OK, so when you're in your reaper suit we want you to do a <em>funny voice</em>.'" I think that about sums it up. But! That said! I still agree with The Boyf's attitude towards it as an ambitious failure to be applauded! I'm very glad it was made and to be fair everyone else in the men's room after - a bunch of 19 year olds in fedoras - <em>loved</em> it. They were practically tripping over themselves to love this movie. I think the simple answer may simply be that ten years ago I would have fainted with delight and now, maybe not so much. I actually loved it, and will probably own it shortly. I laughed through the whole thing, both in places intended to be funny and places that weren't.
