I could totally get behind that. :) My guess is that yes, she would vote for it, given her expressed belief that it was already legal. On the other hand, maybe she assumes it's all "taken care of" and that any new initiative would constitute "special rights." I'm in the middle of an excessively polite blog debate about same-sex marriage with RI's only conservative blogger, so it never occurred to me that there were people confused about the facts. I guess the positive side is that she'd probably vote in favor of some kind of same-sex marriage proposal if she saw it on a ballot? Girlfriend, I wish.
