Honestly, it does make me giggle.
The obvious jokes:
- I thought we Democrats were supposed to be the mules.
- His rehab program must have been faith-based. Zing!
- Drug smuggling, like so many things, is just a harmless frat-boy prank.
Aren’t there some mandatory sentencing guidelines that apply to repeat drug offenders? The conservatives pushed so hard for them, let’s see them applied. Oh wait, he’s white, male and rich. Nevermind, move along, nothing to see here…
