I have to admit, b., that railing (and the Stairs of Death) are the things that most worry me about the kittens being there this year, but I'll cope.

I'm just glad The Boyf managed to reach into the window and grab Gogo before he leapt off into the dark to follow his brother.

And of course they both immediately wanted nothing more than to get back in that damned window.

mrh, I totally feel that. Good grief, I used to worry about them hanging out on the railing between the kitchen and the living room, and that's at most five feet.

Eeesh, too scary. Our cats like to pace back and forth on a 3" wide banister above a reasonable sized drop, and every time I see them do it, I freak out and have to stop my self from rushing over to grab them since I might startle them and make them slip and... ooh.

This sort of thing apparently happens to cats. And, don't worry, they tend to live through it. The owners? Heh--heart-stopping, for SURE.

Kitty, for instance, once did much the same thing out onto the porch at Silverridge. Unfortunately, we weren't home at the time and he couldn't figure out how to get back inside by himself. And I think we told you about TiVo taking a dive off the railing at the Lake house.

I am glad that DiDi is ok and didn't land on anything injurious. Poor little guy!
